Banned on Medium, Are You Kidding Me?!

Why I'm Beyond Frustrated With Their Lack of Transparency

I can't believe this. 

After months of tireless work writing articles, engaging with my community, and promoting my content, Medium has suddenly banned me. 

No warning. 

No explanation. 

Just a vague message about "hacking earnings." What the hell does that even mean?!

I'm sitting here absolutely stunned. 

I've paid for the maximum membership every single month to support their work. I've engaged thoughtfully with other writers and helped flag scammers. 

And this is the thanks I get?

 A slap in the face and zero clarity on what rule I supposedly broke. 

Un-freaking-believable.

Do you have any idea how demoralizing this is? 

How absolutely soul-crushing?

 I've lost countless nights of sleep writing and editing pieces that I was truly proud of.

 I foolishly thought Medium valued creators like me. I was naive enough to think my hard work meant something to them.

Well shame on me for trusting a faceless corporate platform that can ban me on a whim without bothering to explain their reasoning.

 I guess I should have known better.

 But it still hurts deep in my core.

When my son asks me why the other kids have things he can't have, what do I tell him?

 That his dad slaved away for months creating content, only to have it ripped away by a company that won't even tell him why?

 I'm heartbroken that I don't have a better answer for him right now.

Medium owes creators like me transparency. 

Their abrupt bans and lack of communication are absolutely unacceptable. 

I gave them my all, and they threw me away like garbage...
